Dulquer Salmaan’s most awaited period drama Kaantha is making headlines again, this time due to rumours of a release delay. Originally scheduled for September 12, 2025, the film is directed by Selvamani Selvaraj.
According to the latest buzz, Kaantha could now hit theatres during Diwali week, in the third week of October 2025. The makers have yet to confirm the new release plans officially.
Produced by Rana Daggubati alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Prashanth Potluri, and Jom Varghese, the film stars Bhagyashri Borse and Samuthirakani in key roles. The soundtrack is composed by Jhanu Chanthar, adding to the period drama’s appeal.
