Epic, starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, turned heads with its theatrical trailer, which contained sensual elements. The film is based on the Aditya character from the #90’s web series. Aditya Haasan, who helmed the show, directed the film as well.
During a promotional interview, Naga Vamsi revealed an interesting update about the climax. “We took the least number of cinematic liberties for Epic. The way the Epic climax is designed might make some feel that the movie ended abruptly. Climaxes in films can be planned, but it doesn’t work that way in life. We left the film just like how things happen in real life,” said Naga Vamsi.
The producer added, “Hence, we kept the tagline ‘Unfinished Story.’ We took the most natural approach for Epic. Sekhar Kammula garu’s Anand was realistic, and it was a very different attempt for its time. Epic follows a similar route.”
