It’s well known that Prathinidhi 2, a sequel to Nara Rohith’s acclaimed 2014 political drama, Prathinidhi, has been under production for the past 4 months. Nara Rohith is making a comeback of sorts after 5 years since the release of his previous movie, Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu, with this much-awaited sequel.

Titled Prathinidhi 2, the sequel was launched in the last week of August, and the filming is nearing completion. And here’s an exclusive update on this sequel. Apparently, only 3 days of talkie part and a couple of songs are left to be shot. The makers recently shot a heavy-duty action sequence for the movie’s climax at a fruit market in Hyderabad.

Prathinidhi 2 also features popular Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta in a key role. Noted journalist and news presenter Murthy Devagupthapu is directing the film, which is being produced by Kumarraza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota, and Kondakalla Rejender Reddy. The makers are planning to release the movie during the Republic Day weekend in January next year.
