Actor Srikanth Meka’s son Roshan is working on a big project under the renowned banner Swapna Cinema. Titled Champion, the film is directed by National Award winner Pradeep Advaitham, with Mollywood actress Anaswara Rajan making her Tollywood debut as the female lead.
The latest buzz is that the teaser of Champion will be screened exclusively in theatres showing Prabhas’ Baahubali: The Epic – the special reimagined cut by SS Rajamouli, which hit screens today. The teaser will be released online tomorrow at 11:17 AM.
The film’s shooting is currently in progress. Champion is a football-centric sports drama, jointly produced by Anandi Art Creations and Concept Films, and presented by Zee Studios. Mickey J. Meyer is composing the music. The movie is releasing in cinemas on December 25, 2025.
