Akhil Akkineni isn’t in good form as his recent films disappointed the audience. He will next be seen in a movie called Lenin. It is being directed by Murali Kishore Abburu of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame. King Nagarjuna is one of the producers.
In a recent media interaction, Nagarjuna was asked to comment on his son’s film, to which the actor replied, “Everything is going great. I am very happy with the way things are progressing. All I can say about the project right now is: expect the unexpected.” Nagarjuna’s statement is now garnering attention among movie buffs.
Reportedly, the movie is based on the theme of honor killings. Initially, Sreeleela was roped in as the female lead, but she later opted out due to scheduling conflict. Bhagyashri Borse is now playing the female lead. Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments is co-producing the film, with Thaman composing the music.
