After multiple delays, the Telugu version of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, has finally seen the light of day. Early morning shows have already begun across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The release was deferred earlier due to censor corrections.
The advance bookings for the spy action thriller’s Telugu version are sensational to say the least in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Many centres have already reported sold-outs through advances, while other areas are also set for a strong opening. The delay has clearly worked in the film’s favour.
Initially, a few expressed doubts about the Ranveer Singh starrer gaining traction in Andhra Pradesh, but the film is now proving naysayers wrong. Though the first film didn’t have a theatrical release in Telugu, it received widespread acclaim from Telugus after its OTT debut. The appreciation has now converted into ticket sales for the sequel. The Tamil version too is witnessing solid advances on the other side.
