The Malayalam film industry is churning out blockbusters and industry hits with each passing month in 2024. After the latest industry hit, Manjummel Boys, and smash hits like Premalu and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life), it’s now Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham’s turn to enter the record books.
As per the latest updates, Aavesham has royally entered the coveted Rs 150 crore club on its 27th day since release. The film has occupied the fourth spot in the list of all-time highest-grossing Malayalam movies, after Manjummel Boys (Rs. 242 Cr), 2018 (Rs. 175.5 Cr), and Aadujeevitham (Rs. 157 Cr).
Interestingly, Aavesham, despite its steady performance at the box offices across Kerala, is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video on May 9. The Jithu Madhavan directorial is produced by Fahadh’s wife and popular actress Nazriya Nazim along with Anwar Rasheed.
