Kollywood star Suriya’s Tollywood debut has been a hot topic for a long time. Suriya’s ongoing 42nd movie under Siva’s direction was initially planned as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and it was supposed to mark Suriya’s debut in Tollywood. However, the film is now being made as a straight Tamil flick.
Now, a picture of Suriya posing with Tollywood director Chandoo Mondeti has been going viral on social media since yesterday. While an official word is yet to be out from the horse’s mouth, Suriya fans are of the opinion that Chandoo met Suriya at his Chennai office and narrated him a script for a straight Telugu film. Needless to say, Suriya fans are eagerly waiting for his decision.
Suriya has a solid fan base across the twin Telugu states. It is no exaggeration to say that his popularity will increase by leaps and bounds in AP and Telangana once his straight Telugu flick makes its way to theaters.
