The Sandalwood blockbuster Kantara is gearing up for a prequel, titled Kantara: Chapter 1. Directed and written by Rishab Shetty, the film was ceremoniously launched in Kundapura, Karnataka.
Accompanying the grand launch, the makers unveiled the first look poster and an enthralling teaser. The teaser explores the legend emerging during the Kadambas’ reign, placing the storyline between 345 CE and 500 CE (Common Era).
With a mesmerizing score by Ajaneesh Loknath, the teaser draws viewers into a trance. Rishab Shetty is presented in a robust portrayal, adorned with long hair and a beard, brandishing a trident and sword. The striking visuals suggest the creation of a captivating masterpiece, with blood adorning his body and glowing eyes.
Saptami Gowda, Kishore, and other cast members will play crucial roles. Backed by the esteemed banner Hombale Films, this high-budget action thriller is confirmed for release in seven Indian languages. Ajaneesh Loknath is entrusted with the musical composition.
