On the final Friday of 2023, the digital streaming landscape was enriched with the debut of two female-centric films – Nayanthara’s Annapoorani and Hansika Motwani’s My Name is Shruthi.
Initially slated for a multilingual release, Annapoorani is now available for streaming on Netflix only in its original Tamil version, with the promise of dubbed versions in the pipeline. Simultaneously, My Name is Shruthi, featuring Hansika Motwani, arrived on Amazon Prime Video to entertain OTT audiences exclusively in Telugu.
