A video featuring Nivetha Pethuraj went viral on social media recently, where she was seen arguing with cops. Later, it was revealed that the video was a promotional stunt for the actress’s upcoming Telugu web series Paruvu. The show will be released on ZEE5 on 14th June. Nivetha is busy promoting Paruvu, and in one of the interviews, she shared her views about OTT shows.

Nivetha Pethuraj said, “To be very honest, female characters have more scope in OTT projects than films. These shows provide immense opportunities to satisfy the artist in you. I got that satisfaction only through Paruvu. Until now, I haven’t felt it. This is the first time I have had that feeling. I am 100% satisfied that I did a very good job.”

Noted director Pavan Sadineni is the showrunner. Sushmitha Konidela bankrolled Paruvu under the banner of Gold Box Entertainment. Naga Babu, Naresh Agastya, and Praneeta Patnaik played vital roles. Siddharth Naidu directed Paruvu, and the series will also release in Tamil.
