Sahit Mothkuri impressed with his debut directorial, Bandham Regad, an independent film. Later, he made Savaari, which was critically acclaimed. He is now coming up with his third film, Pottel. Yuva Chandraa Krishna plays the male lead, and Ananya Nagalla is the female lead in the movie produced by Nishank Reddy Kudithi of NISA Entertainments and Suresh Kumar Sadige of Pragnya Sannidhi Creations.

The makers unveiled the first look motion poster today. The clip shows Bonalu festivities in a rural area with the entire village participating in the celebrations, which include the sacrifice of a goat and Jogini performing the Rangam. It’s part of rural rituals in Telangana, and the motion poster is truly striking. The sound is quite thumping, too.

Yuva Chandraa Krishna and Ananya Nagalla appeared as a wife and a husband with a daughter who performed all the rituals. Billed to be a unique action entertainer, the film’s music will be provided by Shekar Chandra. Monish Bhupathi Raju is handling the cinematography. Karthika Srinivas is the editor, and Narni Srinivas is the art director.
