The Coronavirus pandemic and the following lockdown has brought out the grave consequences of economic crisis and rise in poverty levels across the world. Apart from finding a vaccine for the deadly virus, fighting poverty will remain a huge challenge for even the developed countries apart from the developing countries.
Mirroring this stark reality, acclaimed Tamil film star Vijay Sethupathi took to took to Twitter recently and posted a heart-touching tweet. “There is a bigger disease called hunger. It would be great if a vaccine is invented to eradicate it. Oh my God,” Vijay tweeted. A few days ago, Vijay said that no god would come to rescue humanity from Coronavirus and that people should unite and save each others.
