From fanboy to directing Chiru: Anil Ravipudi joins viral AI trend

Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu’s director, Anil Ravipudi, took to Instagram on Sunday afternoon and shared a heartwarming video. The video is a collage of him posing with Megastar Chiranjeevi on the set of his iconic cult classics, including Gang Leader, JVAS, Stalin, Mutha Mestri, Indra, and ending with Anil directing Chiru on Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’s set.

Going nostalgic, Anil wrote, “From the Megastar I grew up watching to the Megastar I now direct. Thanks to AI. AI can also be used in such a useful way,” read Anil’s post. Needless to say, the creative use of AI and Anil’s nostalgic touch to the trending video has clicked well with Mega fans.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, also starring Venkatesh and Nayanthara in lead roles, is hitting theaters worldwide on January 12, 2026. Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela are jointly bankrolling the project. Bheems Ceciroleo is the film’s music composer.
