Released amid high expectations, Karthi’s much-anticipated spy action thriller Sardar 2 failed to live up to the hype and ended its theatrical run on a disappointing note.
Now, just three weeks after its theatrical debut, the Tamil film has arrived on Amazon Prime Video in multiple languages, including Telgu. The quick OTT release gives Sardar 2 a second opportunity to find an audience and potentially receive a better response on streaming.
Helmed by PS Mithran, Sardar 2 features Karthi in dual roles alongside SJ Suryah, Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath and Rajisha Vijayan.
The film is produced by S Lakshman Kumar and Ishan Saksena under Prince Pictures and IVY Entertainment, with music composed by Sam CS.
