Funky is the next Telugu film releasing this Valentine’s Day, on February 13, 2026. The film stars Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar and is directed by KV Anudeep. Young producer Naga Vamsi is backing the project.
The recently released trailer received a positive response, and expectations are high. The film is especially crucial for the lead cast and the director for clear career reasons.
Kayadu Lohar was last seen in the blockbuster Dragon. However, her first Telugu film, Alluri, turned out to be a box office failure. This makes Funky an important Telugu release for her to further strengthen her position after the success of Dragon.
Vishwak Sen is also looking for a strong success after his previous film Laila underperformed at the box office. A good result for Funky would help him regain momentum.
The film is equally important for director KV Anudeep, whose last directorial venture, Prince, received mixed reviews and did not perform up to expectations commercially.
