Varun Tej and Harish Shankar’s just released gangster comedy, Gaddhalakonda Ganesh, is performing quite well at the box-offices across the twin Telugu states. The film’s Sunday morning and matinee shows are very solid and the first weekend numbers will be among the best in Varun’s career.
In 2 days, Gaddhalakonda Ganesh collected a distributor share of Rs 9.12 crore in Andhra, Nizam and Ceded regions. This is a promising start and the film has entered the Rs 10 crore club on Sunday morning and is expected to collect another Rs 3 crore plus share today, ending up with a first weekend AP and Telangana share of Rs 12 crore plus approximately.
Gaddhalakonda Ganesh has Atharvaa Murali and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. Ram and Gopi Achanta have produced the movie. Mickey J Meyer’s music is one of the main reasons behind the film’s success.
