Even though Gang opened to some good reviews, the collections were a bit slow initially. The makers of the film jumped into the scene and brought in Suriya to promote the film in the Andhra region.
This has worked in favor of the film as the movie is quite steady during the weekdays as well. Even in the Nizam region, there was an excess collection of six lakhs on Thursday when compared to the Wednesday figures.
This is a good sign for the film and should help the producers. Vignesh Shivan directs this film which has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.
