Gautam Menon is one director who has been going great guns in his career. He chooses some very important films and gives a huge makeover to his stars. The reason he is now in news is that he has bagged the Tamil remake rights of the super hit film Pelli Choopulu for a huge price.
It is yet unknown whether he will produce the film or direct it himself. Pre-production is currently on and it will be very interesting to see as to who he picks up as the lead pair.
Pelli Choopulu was a runaway hit in Telugu and has Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma as the female lead.
