Versatile actor Vikram will be next seen in Chiyaan Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter One – Yuddha Kandam. The movie, which has been in production for a long time, is finally making its way to theatres this Friday. Gautam Menon directed this action thriller. But do you know that Suriya was supposed to play the lead role in this flick?

During the promotions, Gautham Menon said that he penned the script of Dhruva Natchathiram based on the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Gautham Menon said, “Several thoughts were on my mind after 26/11. What if we knew in advance that such attacks would happen? What if there is a special team employed to prevent such terror attacks? This is how I got the idea. But Suriya was concerned about not having any references. Also, he was doubtful if we could convince audiences with such imaginary characters.”

“Four years after Suriya left the project, Vikram was roped in, ” stated Gautham Menon. Ondraga Entertainment, Kondaduvom Entertainment, and Escape Artists Motion Pictures jointly produced this flick. Ritu Varma, Parthiban, Aishwarya Rajesh, Simran, Radhika, Arjun Das, and Divyadarshini played crucial roles. Harris Jayaraj composed the tunes.
