Thanks to the film’s historic and heroic backdrop, macho hunk Rana Daggubati’s Ghazi is carrying a huge positive buzz ahead of its release. Already, Chiru’s and Suriya’s voice-overs for the film’s Telugu and Tamil versions respectively increased the hype surrounding the movie down South.
And even in Bollywood, where one of the country’s most celebrated filmmakers Karan Johar is releasing the movie in association with AA Films, Ghazi is making all the right noises. Popular yesteryear heroine Raveena Tandon, who watched the film in a special preview, praised the movie to the sky.
Ghazi also stars Taapsee, Om Puri, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Nasser and several other seasoned actors. Debutant Sankalp Reddy is the film’s director. The Telugu version is made on PVP Cinema and Matinee Entertainments banners. Ghazi is all set for a grand release on February 17th.
