God of War: Unnecessary Controversies Surround Jr NTR and Trivikram’s Mythological Film

Jr NTR’s much awaited reunion with Trivikram Srinivas was recently announced. Tentatively titled God of War, the mythological film is said to revolve around Lord Muruga. The announcement poster created a strong buzz and raised expectations among fans.

However, the project soon found itself at the center of a couple of online controversies. One of the major talking points was the phrase “Born in North” featured in the announcement. A section of social media users, particularly from Tamil Nadu, expressed their displeasure, arguing that the wording did not align with their beliefs and traditions surrounding Lord Muruga. At the same time, others defended the makers, saying divinity should not be confined to any particular region.

As this debate continued, another discussion surfaced online. Some users claimed that the announcement poster appeared to be AI generated and questioned why the makers would rely on AI for the promotional material of such a prestigious project. However, these remain social media speculations, with no official clarification from the team.

The makers have chosen to stay silent so far, and it remains to be seen whether they will respond to the ongoing discussions. Backed by Haarika & Hassine Creations and NTR Arts, the film has Anirudh Ravichander composing the music and is expected to go on floors soon.
