Godzilla Minus Zero, which was expected to clash with Namit Malhotra’s biggie Ramayana, has officially been postponed. The IMAX screen crunch is said to be one reason for the delay, and the film has now got a new release date.
The much-awaited sequel will hit Indian screens on November 20, 2026. Its early premieres received a massive response, raising expectations for the film, which is Japan’s first movie made for IMAX.
PVR INOX Pictures will handle the Indian distribution of this kaiju film, directed by Takashi Yamazaki. It remains to be seen whether the movie will be released only in Japanese or if other language versions will also be available to reach a wider audience.
