Mollywood star hero Dulquer Salmaan is all set to shine on the screens once again in King of Kotha, directed by Abhilash Joshiy. Aishwarya Lekshmi takes the lead as the female protagonist in this pan-Indian period gangster drama, expected to make its way to the big screens on August 24, 2023.

In a recent update, the King of Kotha team has opted to delay the release of the theatrical trailer, originally slated for today. This choice is a touching tribute to director Siddique, who tragically passed away from a heart attack last night. Admitted to the hospital a couple of days ago after experiencing intense heart pain, Siddique received medical care but sadly left us yesterday.

The entire Mollywood industry is mourning the loss of the creative genius behind blockbuster hits like Godfather, Hitler, Friends, and Big Brother. Meanwhile, netizens are applauding the KOK team for their thoughtful decision, and other Mollywood updates scheduled for today have also been postponed.

King of Kotha also has Chemban Vinod, Shabeer (Dancing Rose), Nyla Usha, Shammi Thilakan, Shanthi Krishna, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Anikha Surendran, Saran Shakthi, and others in significant roles. Wayfarer Films, in collaboration with Zee Studios, brings this film to life. The film’s music is composed by Shaan Rahman and Jakes Bejoy.
