ETV Win is coming up with a new series titled Gurthukosthunnayi. Starring Baby fame Viraj Ashwin and popular content creator Yashashree Rao in the lead roles, the series will premiere on July 3. Winod Gali is the director.
The makers unveiled the trailer today, and it looks entertaining with an interesting premise. The protagonist, along with his childhood sweetheart, goes to meet her father to ask for her hand in marriage. However, the heroine’s father, played by Priyadarshini Ram, isn’t convinced as the hero had created trouble for him during his school days.
Unfortunately, Viraj Ashwin meets with an accident that causes memory loss. He forgets everything about his past, including his parents, close friends, and the love of his life, setting the stage for a fun-filled entertainer. His friends try their best to help him regain his memories, but their efforts go in vain, resulting in several humorous moments.
Towards the end, the trailer takes a serious turn, hinting at the show’s emotional depth as well. It appears that the childhood portions of the lead pair will be the emotional core of the series. Rohini Hattangadi, Sivannarayana, Pavan Sidhu, Godavari Gopi, and Goparaju Ramana play key roles. Suhas and Ajay Arsada have composed the music.
