Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s new film Irumudi is arriving this Friday. The emotional family drama, directed by Shiva Nirvana, features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. Mythri Movie Makers has bankrolled the film. Ahead of the release, music composer GV Prakash Kumar interacted with the media and shared some interesting details.
He said, “I worked on love stories and commercial films, but Irumudi is a very intense thriller. Shiva Nirvana’s narration made me completely lost in the film’s world. Irumudi will be new to Telugu cinema. Audiences can’t guess the twists in Irumudi. I am elated to work on this project, which has immense scope for background score. I expect the film to win multiple National Awards, including Best Regional Film and Best Child Artist. Also, it will succeed commercially.”
“The music for Omkara was composed using a psychological approach. I followed the same way for Irumudi. I listen to the full story to prepare myself. There are multiple challenging sequences in Irumudi for which I used a third layer. The film contains five songs, and they are all a part of the story. I saw the movie, and it is wonderful. This is one of my favorites. It will be a trendsetter,” GV Prakash concluded.
