After showing much promise ahead of its release, Telugu cinema’s first-ever modern-day superhero film,, Hanu-Man, surpassed all expectations across the world on its opening day. Especially, the film has taken a massive start in the Nizam region.
On its day 1, Hanu-Man collected a whopping Rs 3.65 crore share from a gross of Rs 4.90 crore (including GST). What’s staggering about Hanu-Man’s day 1 Nizam box-office performance is that the film has recovered almost 50 percent of the investment in the region in a single day.
Hanu-Man has also collected a total day 1 gross of Rs 1.05 crore in the Uttarandhra region, including the premieres (Rs 50 lks) and day 1 gross (Rs 55 lks). Needless to say, Hanu-Man’s stupendous box office performance, despite releasing in a less number of screens and amid a clash with Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, is leaving the trade circles spellbound.
Starring Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles, this Prashanth Varma directorial is eyeing more opening weekend and lifetime box office records in the coming days.
