Recent Bollywood hit Hanuman Ansh, a movie based on the life of spiritual guru Neem Karoli Baba, was released in Telugu last Friday.
The film made over Rs. 430 crore worldwide in Hindi, but the Telugu version did not do well. Even though the movie has good emotional scenes, poor promotions and less awareness about the Baba in Telugu states hurt its run. Reports say the film collected only around Rs. 2 crore share in three days, which is very low.
With new movies coming to theaters this week, it is unlikely to pick up at the box office. Shobhinaw Satyaa played the lead role in Hanuman Ansh, which was written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi.
