The day the Telugu audiences have been eagerly waiting for is finally here, as Hanuman’s Telugu version dropped a while ago on ZEE5. The film was made available for streaming without prior intimation, which has come as a sweet surprise to viewers.
But there is one aspect that shocked the audience. The length of the Telugu version that is right now streaming on ZEE5 is 2 hours and 30 minutes where as the version that was played in theatres was about 2 hours and 38 minutes. Audiences wonder if the OTT platform has cut short the length of some shots, i.e., frame rate difference (occasionally done by OTT platforms), or if some scenes were removed.
On the other hand, the Hindi version, which is streaming on Jio Cinema, didn’t have any cuts, and the whole 2 hours and 38 minutes of content is present on the digital platform. As we stated earlier, the Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions didn’t arrive on OTT alongside the original version. Keep watching this space for more OTT updates.
