January 26th happens to be the birthday of ‘Mass Maharaja’ Ravi Teja. The highly energetic actor turns 44 today. Born as Bhupatiraju Ravi Shankar Raju on January 26th 1968, this immensely talented actor spent his childhood in various cities before moving to the city of Vijayawada for higher studies. Ravi Teja completed his BA from Siddhartha Degree College in Vijayawada. Aspiring to become an actor, he shifted to Hyderabad and started playing small characters from 1993 onwards.
Ravi Teja joined Krishna Vamsi as an assistant director and worked for Ninne Pelladutha. His first big break as an actor came with Krishna Vamsi’s Sindhooram. Ravi Teja became popular for starring in the iconic song ‘Hai Re Hai’ in that movie. After a series of small roles and decent films, Ravi Teja attained stardom with Puri Jagan’s ‘Idiot’. After that, there was no turning back. Ravi Teja grew from strength to strength over the years. A string of successful movies earned him a reputation as a safe actor. Audience loved his high energy levels and peculiar dialogue delivery. ‘Idiot’, ‘Khadgam’ , ‘Vikramarkudu’, ‘Naa Autograph’, ‘Amma Nanna o Tamil Ammay’ etc are some of his notable films.
