Young hero Varun Sandesh will soon be seen in a romantic entertainer titled Chammak Challo. Neelakanta has directed this film and it’s his first commercial film. Sanchita Padukone and Catherine Tresa have played the lead roles in this film opposite Varun Sandesh. DS Rao has produced the film. Incidentally, it’s the first film post Happy Days, in which Varun Sandesh is playing a college student. “My character’s name in the film is Shyam and after Happy Days, this film is set in a college backdrop. Music and cinematography will be a major highlight in the film. D S Rao has spent a lot to make this film and I am confident that it’ll do quite well,” Varun Sandesh said while speaking at the platinum disc launch of the film. Neelakanta said, “A lot of people told me that my previous films lacked entertainment. Chammak Challo is my first romantic film and I hope the audience likes this attempt.” Kiran Varanasi has scored the music. Suresh Productions is distributing the film and it’ll be released in more than 200 screens on February 15.
