Gutta Productions and Kamalakar Film Corporation have unveiled the theatrical trailer of Happy Journey, which marks the directorial debut of Abhiramm Naidu. The film brings together seven women from different age groups and backgrounds, taking them on an eventful journey filled with fun, emotions, and unexpected experiences.
Annapurnamma, Amani, Anchor Jhansi, Payal Radhakrishna, Jinisha Alishetty, Roopaa Srinivas, and Sunaina headline the film, while Prudhvi Dandamudi, Wamce, and Ravi Siva Teja Paila appear in supporting roles. Balaji Gutta and Koushik Reddy are producing the film under the Gutta Productions and Kamalakar Film Corporation banners, with Tharun Reddy serving as the co-producer.
The trailer introduces seven women who travel to Europe with the help of a tourist guide. Though they come from different walks of life and have contrasting personalities and outlooks, they come together with the intention of enjoying the trip. However, their differences soon result in disagreements and amusing situations.
As the journey unfolds, the women slowly get to know each other and understand their individual struggles and perspectives. What begins as a trip involving strangers gradually turns into a meaningful bond, with their shared experiences bringing them closer.
The film’s European setting adds a refreshing touch to the narrative, while the diverse characters provide plenty of scope for both humour and emotion. Director Abhiramm Naidu appears to have blended these elements effectively, making the journey look entertaining while also giving the characters an emotional dimension.
The lead cast members bring their respective characters to life with distinct personalities and performances. Annapurnamma, Amani, Anchor Jhansi, Payal Radhakrishna, Jinisha Alishetty, Roopaa Srinivas, and Sunaina each have a significant role to play in the story. Prudhvi Dandamudi, Wamce, and Ravi Siva Teja Paila also make their presence felt in their supporting parts.
Manikandan Subramaniyan’s cinematography stands out in the trailer, capturing the beauty of the European locations and adding to the film’s visual appeal. Shekar Chandra’s music complements the narrative and enhances the fun as well as emotional portions. The film is gearing up for its theatrical release on September 18.
