The film was initially expected to arrive on VOD much earlier. However, its phenomenal theatrical run reportedly prompted the makers to delay its digital debut. The latest buzz suggests that Obsession could arrive on BMS Stream for rental in multiple South Indian languages.
While this is yet to be officially confirmed, the development will certainly excite movie lovers who have been waiting to watch the blockbuster in their preferred language.
Obsession has also emerged as a surprise winner at the Indian box office. After opening on a modest note, the psychological horror thriller witnessed exceptional growth through positive word of mouth and has now grossed over Rs. 60 crore in India.
Trade circles note that the Telugu states have contributed significantly to the film’s success, with Telangana emerging as one of its strongest markets.
