Senior hero Venkatesh’s milestone 75th film, Saindhav, was formally announced a couple of weeks ago. The film will be directed by HIT director Sailesh Kolanu and the regular shooting will commence from this month end.

As per the latest updates, Saindhav’s makers have signed actress Ruhani Sharma as the female lead. Apparently, the female lead’s part will have a huge scope for performance and Sailesh was looking for an actress who can pull off the role comfortably. Even Ruhani was looking for a challenging role opposite a star hero, and she didn’t think twice to sign on the dotted line when the project came her way. Incidentally, Ruhani had played the female lead in Sailesh’s debut film, HIT.

Saindhav is a high-voltage action thriller set in a fictional port area named Chandraprastha. Venky’s beard and rugged look in the announcement teaser was a huge hit with fans. Venkat Boyanapalli is bankrolling the project under Niharika Entertainment banner.
