HIT 3 vs Retro: Theater allocation becomes a hot topic

HIT 3 is just a few days away from its release and is all set to hit the screens on May 1, 2025. On the same day, Suriya’s Retro is also set to release, and ever since the pre-release event took place, the buzz around Retro has been growing steadily.

The action drama is getting a wide release in Tamil Nadu, but that is not the case in the Telugu states. As most of the screens are being occupied by HIT 3, Retro is struggling to secure theaters, according to reports.

Both films feature top stars, but Nani is in another league these days with back-to-back hits. As a result, HIT 3 is expected to open with a bang and packed houses, with the summer holidays serving as the icing on the cake.

Now, everything depends on the word of mouth for Retro; if the film gets off to a good start, it will automatically secure more screens in the days to come.
