Kollywood star Suriya’s highly anticipated romantic action drama, Retro, is gearing up for its release on May 1, 2025. Star heroine Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this Karthik Subbaraj directorial.
Suriya landed in Hyderabad on Saturday for Retro Telugu version’s pre-release event. Speaking at the event, Suriya thanked his Telugu fans and promised them to meet them more often as he will soon be working on his next project with Tollywood director Venky Atluri in Hyderabad. The National Award-winning actor thanked his Telugu fans for their overwhelming love.
Talking about Retro, Suriya said that the film has action, romance, comedy, and intensity. He lauded Karthik Subbaraj’s unique style of filmmaking and said that he quite enjoyed working on Retro. “Retro will surely win your hearts on the 1st of May,” said Suriya.
Suriya also had a few nice things to say about Tollywood star Nani, who’s HIT 3 also releases on May 1. “After Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and Court, hope my good friend Nani will score a hat-trick with HIT 3. Like Nani said, it’ll be a party on May 1st with Retro and HIT 3’s release,” he concluded.
