Hot Spot 2 Much to Stream on 6 OTT Platforms; Premiere Date Announced

Hot Spot 2 Much is a spiritual sequel to the 2024 film Hot Spot, written and directed by Vignesh Karthick. Released on January 23, 2026, the film is an anthology that blends social commentary with satire and drama.

Although it did not receive as much attention as the prequel during its theatrical run, the movie is now set for its digital debut. Not just one, but six streaming platforms will premiere the film on February 20, 2026.

These include Amazon Prime Video, Aha, Lionsgate Play, Simply South (outside India), AP International South Cinema, and Short Flix. However, there is currently no clarity regarding the availability of additional audio language options.

Priya Bhavani Shankar, MS Bhaskar, Thambi Ramaiah, Bhavani Sri, Brigida Saga, Rakshan, and others play significant roles in the film. It is produced by KJB Talkies and Ants to Elephants. Stay tuned for more updates.
