Amazon Prime Video’s recent direct to OTT release, Gehraiyaan premiered on the platform on the 11th of February. The romantic drama opened to encouraging reviews.
The latest update is that Amazon Prime spent big bucks on Gehraiyaan, which is one of their premium outings in 2022.
Apparently, Amazon shelled out Rs 100 crores for the direct to digital release rights of Gehraiyaan. This is one of the biggest deals in the Indian OTT space.
Gehraiyaan is an urban rom com featuring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Panday in the lead roles.
