While watching Sing Geetham, the 40 year old dream project of 94 year old filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao garu, many noticed Nivetha Pethuraj in a small yet impactful role. As Sailaja Mannem, she left a lasting impression on the audience.
The fact is that she has been appearing in films less frequently in recent years, and she addressed the same during the success meet. Nivetha revealed that she was on the verge of quitting films in 2023. However, life took her on unexpected paths and eventually brought her to Singeetham Srinivasa Rao garu’s golden blockbuster Sing Geetham.
She thanked the entire team, especially Nag Ashwin, for making her a part of the film. Nivetha also shared that if this opportunity had not come her way, she might have been somewhere in the Himalayas, meditating.
It is wonderful to see her back on screen. Recent reports have also confirmed that she is part of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film with Bobby. She has already joined the sets and reportedly shot a few scenes during the Pollachi schedule.
