Hrithik Roshan, who is on a high post the blockbuster success of War and Super 30, is said to be turning producer. Although his father, Rakesh Roshan has been producing films for a while now, now Hrithik too wants to follow the same path, as per his latest confessions in an interview.
Revealing his plan to produce films, Hrithik said, “My team and I have been reading a lot of scripts. I may not act in these films or maybe I will do a small part, but the idea is to produce content-driven films, triumph-of-life stories or something that can leave an impact on the audience.” The actor is likely to make an announcement soon about his future plans.
When asked about the long gaps between his own films, Hrithik added that he waited for a long time after Kaabil to find a good script, especially an action drama; however, Super 30 was the only script which caught his attention before War came his way. “I have been in this industry for 20 years now, and I have no regrets about anything. I worked in two films in different genres in the 20th year of my career, both of which are big hits. What more can I ask for? It’s only the quality of scripts that matters to me and not how many films I am doing in a year,” he said.
