The midnight shows culture was not encouraged in Telangana earlier but with Salaar, the fan frenzy has returned once again. The government of Telangana permitted these midnight shows as multiple single screens and multiplexes showcased Prabhas’s Salaar from 1 AM today.

The fans watched the film in big numbers but there were also a few who watched the film for free. Going into details, Salaar opened at 1 AM in Sandhya Theatre in RTC Crossroads. The gates were opened just before five minutes. As soon as the gates opened, hundreds of fans thronged the theatre and the management could not do anything.

There were at least 200 fans who watched the film standing and they did not even have a ticket. Those who bought the tickets had no choice but to watch the film with a lot of disturbance and discomfort.

The same was the case in the popular Mallikarjuna theatre in KPHB, Hyderabad. 100’s of fans thronged the theatre and started to watch the film for free. The cops had to be called to disperse the crowds.

All this shows the power of Prabhas. Fans were waiting for the Rebel star to make this kind of film. Now that the response is good, everyone wants to watch the film as soon as possible.
