The recent drug scandal that was unearthed in Hyderabad has shaken Tollywood. Apart from several kingpins, the Telangana Anti-narcotics cops also arrested a film producer and film financier. Yesterday, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand released a video in which he mentioned popular actor Navdeep as one of the suspects who is on the run. The Commissioner also said that Navdeep is absconding and that a hunt is on to nab him at the earliest.
However, responding to the ongoing reports, Navdeep took to X and tweeted, “That’s not me gentlemen. I’m right here .. pls clarify thanks (sic),” clearly stating that he is not the Navdeep mentioned by the top cop and that he is very much in Hyderabad and ready for any further clarification. Needless to say, Navdeep’s fans took a huge sigh of relief after his clarification tweet.
Navdeep also tweeted a teaser video in which he is seen riding a race bike. The video says, “Gearing up for Love Mouli,” hinting that this could be Navdeep’s upcoming film. Stay tuned to 123telugu.com for further developments.
