After announcing the shutdown of his production house, Vetrimaaran made another bold statement that is now sparking discussions on social media. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Vetrimaaran revealed that he does not have the habit of writing bound scripts.

“I don’t give the script to my actors. How can I, when I don’t write one? Actors only know which scene will be shot on a particular day. They don’t know what changes might happen. If there are major sequences requiring more detailing, I inform my actors beforehand. At the beginning of a film, there will be around 100 pages of written material, and by the time shooting is completed, it will be around 400 pages,” said the Asuran director.

Vetrimaaran added, “Everyone knows not to trust my first draft. Some actors do get bothered by my working style. Hence, they choose not to collaborate with me.” Many are commenting that Vetrimaaran’s approach is unprofessional since huge sums of money are at stake, especially when the film features big stars, and that there is a high chance of things going wrong.
