Kannappa is Vishnu Manchu’s most prestigious film to date and features cameos by Akshay Kumar and Prabhas. The Hindi teaser of the film was launched today in Mumbai for the media.
For the rest of the world, the teaser will be released on March 1, 2025. Speaking at the launch, Akshay Kumar revealed that he had initially rejected Kannappa twice.
“Initially, I wasn’t sure and even declined the offer twice. But Vishnu’s unwavering conviction that I was the right choice for this role convinced me. The story is powerful and deeply moving, and the film has turned out to be a visual spectacle,” said Akshay.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by M. Mohan Babu, the film also features Sarath Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Mukesh Rishi in key roles.
