Sandalwood superstar Shiva Rajkumar underwent a surgical procedure at the Miami Cancer Institute in Florida, where a cancerous bladder was successfully removed. Shiva Rajkumar returned to Bengaluru in January, and he has been taking rest before resuming shooting for his upcoming movies.

“I was diagnosed with cancer in April last year. I was neck-deep into my film shoots when cancerous symptoms were diagnosed. I underwent preliminary treatment in Bengaluru. After a few days, I underwent several tests, and doctors confirmed that I was diagnosed with cancer. I was a bit shaken initially, but my family and my doctors instilled confidence in me. I shot for movies while simultaneously undergoing chemotherapy treatment. It was quite difficult. You’d be shocked to see how I acted in the climax of ’45,'” said the superstar in a latest interview.

Shiva Rajkumar went on to say that he has been practicing yoga and eating healthy following his cancer treatment. Talking about resuming film shootings, he said, “I will resume shootings for my upcoming movies from March 3. I will join Ram Charan’s RC16 team in Hyderabad on March 5. I’m playing a very special role in the movie. I will shoot for 3 days for RC16. I thank my fans and well-wishers from the industry for their love and support in my difficult times.”
