Maverick director Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s highly-anticipated film, Indian 2, went on floors in 2019. But sadly, the film faced many hurdles during the shooting. The film’s shooting has been stalled ever since the lockdown was imposed in March last year.
Later, Indian 2 never resumed its shooting and speculations started doing the rounds that the film was shelved completely. Recently, Shankar announced his new project with Ram Charan, giving a clear hint that Indian 2 is indeed shelved.
However, there has been no official update from Lyca Productions regarding the film’s status.
