Sania Mirza, who was a young Tennis sensation has finally retired from the International sport. The Hyderabadi girl has revealed that it is the correct time to big goodbye to the sport.
Sania has been suffering from knee surgery for a long time now and this is one of the reasons she says forced her to quit the game which she started playing young.
In her statement, Sania also said “For me to find that motivation every day to come out. The energy is not the same anymore”
Sania has won six Grand Slams titles so far and is married to Pakistani cricketer Shoiab Malik and resides in Dubai. Here’s wishing her a happy retirement.
