Mrs Indira Devi, wife of actor Krishna and mother of Mahesh Babu, passed away this morning in Hyderabad. She was suffering from several health issues.
The mortal remains of Indira Devi are kept open to the public at Padmalaya Studios in Hyderabad. Many actors, directors and producers paid homage to her and they also consoled Krishna, Mahesh Babu and other family members.
The last rites of Indira Devi have happened a few minutes ago in Mahaprasthanam located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The Ghattamaneni family performed the exequies as per Hindu tradition. Her sudden demise left a huge void in Ghattamaneni’s family.
