It’s been reported already that star heroine Rakul Preet Singh will be playing the female lead in Manmadhudu 2, the much-awaited sequel to Nagarjuna’s 2002 blockbuster, Manmadhudu. And, here are some interesting details about Rakul’s character in the movie.
Apparently, Rakul will be playing an author-backed role which has a strong scope for performance. She will be seen as a free-spirited, street-smart young girl in a brand new avatar. Director Rahul Ravindran believed that Rakul is the perfect choice for the role and wrote her character with a lot of care.
‘Manmadhudu 2’ will start shooting from the last week of March. Nag himself will be bankrolling the project under Annapurna Studios banner. Stay tuned for further details.
