Interview : Trivikram Srinivas – I am happy with the film’s success

Trivikram’s latest family entertainer, S/O Satyamurthy has released last Thursday and is currently running with solid collections all over. On the eve of the film’s success we caught up with Trivikram for a brief interview. Let’s see what he has to say.

Q)How is the response for your movie ?

We have been receiving positive feedback from the family audience. I am happy with the final result and I thank the audience for making our film a huge hit.

Q) Your film received mixed reviews. What do you have to say about that ?

Frankly speaking, I don’t follow reviews and watch television either. I generally go through the newspapers and find out the response of my movies.

Q) How did you feel after watching the film with the audience?

Initially, we felt that the first half will be a bit slow and the audience will be elated in the second half. To my surprise, many scenes in the first half were appreciated more.

Q) Why is Nitya Menon’s character not given much importance ?

Nitya Menon played a cameo in this flick. Although it is a crucial role, I felt that her character did not need more establishment in the movie.

Q)Why do you quote sayings from famous epics while narrating strong points?

I strongly feel that the epics form the basis for our human lives and I take reference from them to portray the stong human values in today’s generation.

Q)You have mostly directed films with Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu. Why not others ?

No specific reasons for my inclination towards these three stars. But, I did not come across any such circumstances to direct other heros.
